FairLift SMS Program — How We Collect Consent
FairLift is the ride-share and food delivery product of Fair Lift LLC (fairlift.net). This page documents every way a person opts in to (and out of) transactional text messages from FairLift, with the exact disclosures shown at each point of consent. It is provided for carrier and 10DLC campaign review.
Who we are and why we text
Fair Lift LLC operates FairLift, a community ride-share and food delivery technology platform with rider and driver apps. Ride income is intended for the participating driver after payment-processing fees and a technology cost of less than $1 per ride. The apps are not yet listed in public app stores; app-store submissions and required licenses are in progress.
SMS is part of operations, not marketing. FairLift texts opted-in riders, food-delivery customers, and drivers about ride matching, food-delivery orders, trip or drop-off status, receipts, payouts, and account verification so a ride or delivery can be completed even when the app is not open. 1Rider app — Create account screen
When a rider creates an account in the FairLift Rider mobile app (iOS and Android), they enter their mobile number and see an unchecked consent checkbox directly below the form. The account can be created without checking the box; consent is never a condition of using the service.
Exact wording shown next to the checkbox:
By checking this box, I agree to receive transactional text messages from FairLift (Fair Lift LLC) at the number above, such as ride confirmations, driver updates, receipts, and verification codes. Consent is not required to create an account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. SMS Terms · Privacy Policy
Stored on opt-in: phone number (E.164), timestamp, source rider_app_signup, consent text version, app version, IP address.

2Driver app — Create account screen
The FairLift Driver app uses the same flow. Drivers enter their mobile number and may check an unchecked consent box before tapping Create account. Wording is identical except that it references rider updates and ride requests.
By checking this box, I agree to receive transactional text messages from FairLift (Fair Lift LLC) at the number above, such as ride requests, rider updates, payout notices, and verification codes. Consent is not required to create an account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. SMS Terms · Privacy Policy

3In-app settings — "Text messages" toggle
Signed-in users can opt in or out at any time from a dedicated screen:
- Rider app: Account → Text messages
- Driver app: Profile → Text messages
The screen shows the number on file, the current status, a single on/off switch, and the full disclosure. Turning the switch off records an opt-out immediately and no further messages are sent. Turning it on records a new opt-in with a fresh timestamp.

Status: On · Messages go to +1 (520) 555-0123
By turning this on, you agree to receive transactional text messages from FairLift (Fair Lift LLC) at the number above, such as ride confirmations, driver or rider updates, receipts, and verification codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel, START to resume, or HELP for help. SMS Terms · Privacy Policy
4Website — driver waitlist form
Prospective drivers can leave a phone number on the fairlift.net home page. The form cannot be submitted until the consent checkbox (unchecked by default) is ticked. Wording shown:

Record keeping
For every opt-in and opt-out, FairLift stores the phone number, the action, the source (which screen or keyword), the version of the consent language shown, a timestamp, and, for app and web consents, the IP address and app version. Opt-outs from any channel (keyword, in-app switch, or carrier opt-out list) take effect immediately across both apps. Records are available to carriers or regulators on request.
